1. Información del Servicio

AlterMundi Meet es un servicio de videoconferencia proporcionado por AlterMundi, una asociación civil sin fines de lucro dedicada al desarrollo de redes comunitarias y tecnología libre.

Este servicio se ofrece "tal cual" (as-is) sin garantías de disponibilidad, rendimiento o idoneidad para un propósito particular. El uso del servicio es bajo su propio riesgo.

2. Recopilación de Datos

Datos que recopilamos:

  • Direcciones IP para registros de seguridad y auditoría
  • Nombres de usuario proporcionados al unirse a reuniones
  • Metadatos de sesión (hora de entrada/salida, sala)
  • Credenciales de administradores (almacenadas con hash bcrypt)

Datos que NO recopilamos:

  • Contenido de audio o video de las reuniones (no se graba por defecto)
  • Mensajes de chat (procesados en tiempo real, no almacenados)
  • Datos personales más allá de lo necesario para el funcionamiento

3. Uso del Servicio

Al utilizar AlterMundi Meet, usted acepta:

  • No utilizar el servicio para actividades ilegales
  • No compartir contenido que viole derechos de terceros
  • No intentar acceder a salas sin autorización
  • Respetar a otros participantes de las reuniones
  • No realizar ingeniería inversa ni intentar vulnerar la seguridad del sistema

4. Seguridad

Implementamos medidas de seguridad incluyendo:

  • Conexiones cifradas (HTTPS/WSS)
  • Autenticación basada en tokens JWT
  • Sistema de invitaciones con códigos únicos y expirables
  • Contraseñas almacenadas con hash bcrypt

Sin embargo, ningún sistema es 100% seguro. No garantizamos la seguridad absoluta de las comunicaciones.

5. Términos Legales Adicionales

5.1 Consentimiento de Grabación / Recording Consent

Español: Las reuniones realizadas a través de AlterMundi Meet PUEDEN ser grabadas por cualquier participante con los permisos correspondientes. Al unirse a cualquier reunión, usted reconoce y acepta que su audio, video e imagen pueden ser grabados. AlterMundi NO es responsable del uso, almacenamiento, distribución o publicación de dichas grabaciones por parte de los participantes o terceros. Usted es el único responsable de informar a otros participantes si decide grabar una reunión.

English: Meetings conducted through AlterMundi Meet MAY be recorded by any participant with appropriate permissions. By joining any meeting, you acknowledge and consent that your audio, video, and likeness may be recorded. AlterMundi is NOT responsible for the use, storage, distribution, or publication of such recordings by participants or third parties. You are solely responsible for informing other participants if you choose to record a meeting.

5.2 Indemnización / Indemnification

Español: Usted acepta indemnizar, defender y mantener indemne a AlterMundi, sus directores, voluntarios, colaboradores y afiliados de cualquier reclamo, demanda, pérdida, daño, costo o gasto (incluyendo honorarios legales razonables) que surja de: (a) su uso del servicio; (b) su violación de estos términos; (c) su violación de derechos de terceros; (d) cualquier contenido que usted transmita a través del servicio.

English: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AlterMundi, its directors, volunteers, contributors, and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the service; (b) your violation of these terms; (c) your violation of third-party rights; (d) any content you transmit through the service.

5.3 Contenido del Usuario / User Content

Español: Usted es el único responsable de todo el contenido que transmita, comparta o muestre a través del servicio, incluyendo pero no limitado a: audio, video, compartición de pantalla, archivos, mensajes de chat y cualquier otra forma de comunicación. AlterMundi no monitorea, modera ni revisa el contenido de las reuniones y no asume ninguna responsabilidad por el contenido generado por los usuarios.

English: You are solely responsible for all content you transmit, share, or display through the service, including but not limited to: audio, video, screen sharing, files, chat messages, and any other form of communication. AlterMundi does not monitor, moderate, or review meeting content and assumes no responsibility for user-generated content.

5.4 EXENCIÓN DE GARANTÍAS / DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

ESPAÑOL: EL SERVICIO SE PROPORCIONA "TAL CUAL" Y "SEGÚN DISPONIBILIDAD", SIN GARANTÍAS DE NINGÚN TIPO, YA SEAN EXPRESAS O IMPLÍCITAS, INCLUYENDO PERO NO LIMITADO A GARANTÍAS DE COMERCIABILIDAD, IDONEIDAD PARA UN PROPÓSITO PARTICULAR, NO INFRACCIÓN, O CURSO DE DESEMPEÑO. ALTERMUNDI NO GARANTIZA QUE EL SERVICIO SERÁ ININTERRUMPIDO, SEGURO, LIBRE DE ERRORES, O QUE LOS DEFECTOS SERÁN CORREGIDOS.

ENGLISH: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE. ALTERMUNDI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

5.5 Requisito de Edad / Age Requirement

Español: Debe tener al menos 13 años de edad para utilizar este servicio. Si tiene entre 13 y 18 años, declara que tiene el consentimiento de un padre o tutor legal para utilizar el servicio y que dicho padre o tutor ha leído y acepta estos términos en su nombre. AlterMundi no recopila intencionalmente información de menores de 13 años.

English: You must be at least 13 years of age to use this service. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's consent to use the service and that such parent or guardian has read and agrees to these terms on your behalf. AlterMundi does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

5.6 Limitación de Responsabilidad / Limitation of Liability

Español: En la máxima medida permitida por la ley aplicable, AlterMundi y sus colaboradores no serán responsables por ningún daño indirecto, incidental, especial, consecuente o punitivo, incluyendo pero no limitado a: pérdida de beneficios, datos, uso, buena voluntad u otras pérdidas intangibles, resultantes de: (a) su uso o imposibilidad de uso del servicio; (b) cualquier acceso no autorizado o uso de nuestros servidores y/o información personal almacenada; (c) cualquier interrupción o cese de transmisión hacia o desde el servicio; (d) cualquier grabación, distribución o uso de contenido de reuniones por parte de terceros; (e) cualquier contenido obtenido del servicio; (f) cualquier conducta o contenido de terceros en el servicio.

English: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AlterMundi and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (a) your use or inability to use the service; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or personal information stored therein; (c) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the service; (d) any recording, distribution, or use of meeting content by third parties; (e) any content obtained from the service; (f) any conduct or content of any third party on the service.
